Everything here is satire. All articles, headlines, images, and captions on this site are fiction, parody, or humorous opinion, written to make a point and (we hope) make you laugh. They are not news reports and should not be read, shared, or cited as fact.
Public figures and institutions. Names of public officials, public figures, government agencies, companies, and other institutions are used satirically, to comment on their public conduct, policies, and statements. Nothing here claims that any real person actually did or said what is described.
Quotes are fictional. Any quotation attributed to a real person or organization is invented for satire unless it is clearly marked as a real, sourced quote.
Coincidence clause. Any resemblance to real events, or to any private person living or dead, is coincidental. We do not write about private individuals.
Contributors. Some pieces are written by community contributors. Their views are their own and are not necessarily those of Doc or Slash Sarcasm. Every piece is reviewed against our Vibe Check rules before publishing.
