Principles of Progressive Ideology
1. Live in a comfy bubble, having never been challenged.
2. Arrive at political positions based on wishful thinking, naiveté, peer pressure, and lack of any challenge to assumptions.
3. When defeated in the polls, have mass panic attacks because you can’t comprehend not getting your way nor how things could come out different than you expected.
4. Whine without ceasing like a baby who lost her pacifier because you deserve whatever you want.
5. Blame everyone and everything except yourself.
6. Expose yourself only to snarky, wealthy hypocrites like Bill Maher, Steve Colbert, John Oliver, Samantha Bee.
7. Get your ‘news’ from muckrakers like the New York Times, CNN, WaPo, MSNBC, ignoring their biased agenda– and retractions.
8. Feel guilt because of any number of factors out of your control like: being white, being male, being successful, being religious, being straight, being educated with a marketable degree, making good choices.
9. Pick and choose from among the Bill of Rights based on wishy washy ideas instead of fundamental natural rights.
10. Blame and attack those for what you sneak around and do.
11. Feel that the Rule of Law means nothing to powerful, rich politicians, celebrities you sycophanticaly fawn over, and big wigs you agree with.
12. You feel sorry for the various plights people find themselves in based on decisions they have made and want the federal government to do something about it, ignoring states rights.
13. You think the ‘government’ is some kind of magic money machine, while ignoring that it screws up everything, and only gets funds from a shrinking pool of taxpayers and money borrowed from central banks.
14. You think passing a law, education, banning things, or spending money actually solves long term problems.
