Apple CEO Tim Cook announced today that Apple, in coordination with Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube will no longer tolerate fascist hate speech on their social media platforms. “For far too long we have allowed dangerous free speech from Trump supporters to be made available to our customers. Staring today we will leave no thought, no idea, no issue allowed on Facebook or other platforms that might expose our users to unwarranted provocation. Quite frankly, they just don’t know how to deal with facts, issues, and contrary positions. So we have to protect them from the Nazi thugs of the Trump Administration and their Russian sponsors.”
