Reparations Demanded for Abortion Industry’s Notional Impact on Social Prosperity

US Congresswoman Annabelle Lea (R,FL) filed a bill today that would grant $25,000 to every American alive today for the notional loss of the societal benefits that aborted babies may have generated if their mothers had permitted them to live.
Said Lea in a press conference on the steps of the USSC, “It is estimated that over 60 million abortions have been performed since the historic ‘Roe v. Wade’ case in 1972.  Of that 60 million, statistics suggest,  between 175,000 – 500,00 of these babies would have been geniuses like Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, or Bob Dylan. If they had been allowed to live, these babies would have greatly benefited society in innumerable ways.  What wonderful technological innovations and miraculous medical discoveries, such as a cure for Alzheimers would we now benefit from? What wonderful art, music, and literature would have enriched our lives?”

“Perhaps a young woman would have been born that would have led the world to peace.  Who knows? The mom decided it would interfere with her acting career to give the child, that budding potential genius, to a loving family. Nope.  Good bye cancer cure!z”

Continued, Lea, “There were concerns of pricing in the net present value of the stream of benefits that may have been incurred over the past 50 years and far into our future.   However, we conservatively estimate that $3-12 trillion in gross benefit would have occurred. Subtracting the revenues to Planned Parenthood of fetus body parts that they sell to Chinese organ researchers, we have come up with $25,000 per American citizen alive today.”

“The difficulties in the calculation were quite frankly, no more difficult than those required for calculating reparations to the current American generation for  ancestral slavery of 200-500 years ago.”
